Hi, I was hoping someone could help, my son left his brand new football boots, bought with his Christmas money on the Ashford to Bromley 7:26am train yesterday morning, on his way to his football academy.
He later on then spent hours going to any station from London to Kent, that he thought the train might have gone, to ask, he has filled out the lost property online form too.
They all said they hadn’t had anything handed in.
Is there anything else anyone can recommend please, he’s so gutted.

Is there an easier way of attempting to retrieve lost items from a train? Travelling to Tonbridge to paddock wood via the Folkestone train. My daughter left her bag and AirPods and (8 days old🥲🙄) and a sentimental key ring on her keys, on the train. I’ve completed the online form but wondered if anyone else had any other tips / tricks in attempt to retrieve it please 🥹. I’ve tried to call but they’re not helpful and keep passing me back online.

Lost Violin.
Very sadly a violin was left on the 7.38am Southern Train travelling from Watford Junction to East Croydon on Friday 6th December
Left on the overhead luggage rack on the train at West Brompton Station at roughly 8:15 am
Every avenue has been looked at but the violin has not turned up at any stations or lost property offices.
It was in a black hard case and has a distinctive centre chin rest. Pictures below.
